Well, it is now called Milton Center, as it houses three different schools-. Independence High, Second Chance, and now Connected Academy. In the evenings, Clayton State and Georgia Perimeter College use the facilities as well.

Independence High School was relocated from downtown Roswell and is for 16 year old & up students where a traditional school environment was not a good fit.

Second Chance is for chronically disruptive students (those who have been found guilty at a Disciplinary Tribunal for violating school rules)

Connected Academy is a tuition free charter high school open to all Fulton County juniors and seniors, and is designed for students who are high achieving but may not find the atmosphere of a traditional high school to be the right fit for their learning style.
